Economics is the subject related with the study of money and wealth.

Various domains of Economics are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, Public Economics, International Economics, Demographic Economics, Labour Economics, Development Economics, etc.

Microeconomics covers basic concepts like theory of demand, theory of production, theory of price determination, theory of factor pricing, theory of economic welfare, etc.

Whereas Macroeconomics covers basic concepts like theory of income, output & employment and theory of general price level & inflation, etc.

Students study capitalist or market economy, socialist or command economy and mixed economy.

Economics focusses on various economic issues like central problems of economy, economic problem, poverty, employment, rural development, sustainable development, budget, money, banking, national income, GDP or national income, foreign exchange, balance of payment, demand, supply, cost, revenue, production, consumer’s equilibrium, producer’s equilibrium, market equilibrium, forms of market, perfect competition, etc.
